Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We do also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check  the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog.  Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are  a limited intake adoption center and an all volunteer, non-profit organization. All of our animals are disease free, have been spayed/neutered and are up to date on shots. We charge a Dog adoption fee of $150 which includes a microchip. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. Most of our dogs will require a fenced yard. I'm a young Labrador/Spaniel mix and I need a new family. I'm the sweetest, most affectionate girl and get along well with other dogs.  I did have hip surgery recently on my right rear hip due to a problem I came to shelter with, but I am doing great now after some water therapy and exercise.
