Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We do also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check  the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog.  Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are  a limited intake adoption center and an all volunteer, non-profit organization. All of our animals are disease free, have been spayed/neutered and are up to date on shots. We charge a Dog adoption fee of $150 which includes a microchip. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. Most of our dogs will require a fenced yard. I'm a young Chihuahua mix just over a year old. I'm sweet but shy and fearful of a lot of noise and activity.  My best home would be on the quieter side with no small children caz that kind of activity makes me pretty nervous.  I also need some work to be housetrained but will work hard to please you.    If you are interested in meeting me, go to website Marshallcountyhumanesociety.org.
