Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We do also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check  the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog.  Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are  a limited intake adoption center and an all volunteer, non-profit organization. All of our animals are disease free, have been spayed/neutered and are up to date on shots. We charge a Dog adoption fee of $150 which includes a microchip. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. Most of our dogs will require a fenced yard. Edna is a beautiful German Shepard surrendered by owner to us.  She is currently undergoing heartworm treatment so is on hold until she has completed her treatment.  She is settled and you won't have to go through puppy chewing, etc. with her.  Call if you would like to meet her.   All of our animals are healthy, disease free, have been spayed/neutered and are up to date on shots.
