Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We do also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check  the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog.  Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are  a limited intake adoption center and an all volunteer, non-profit organization. All of our animals are disease free, have been spayed/neutered and are up to date on shots. We charge a Dog adoption fee of $150 which includes a microchip. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. Most of our dogs will require a fenced yard. Daniel is aproximately 9 mos. old.  He was found wandering down a road. Now that he has been in his foster home several months, he is healthy and active, housetrained and has a very good sit and stay.  He is smart and learns quickly.  He's a little shy with strangers but once he gets to know you he will be your constant companion.  He's comfortable with other dogs, cats and horses, and can run like the wind. He would probably be a good agility dog.  Be sure and check out his Youtube VIDEO.
