Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We do also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and an all volunteer, non-profit organization. All of our animals are disease free, have been spayed/neutered and are up to date on shots. We charge a Dog adoption fee of $150 which includes a microchip. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. Most of our dogs will require a fenced yard. To fill out application, go to our website Marshallcountyhumanesociety.org, go to Adoption Info tab and click on Application. About Madison
Status: Adopted!
Species: Dog
Rescue ID: 11HS20
General Color: Tan
Location: 38635
Madison had a hard start in life. She was wandering around on the road with 2 other dogs for months. One of our members was finally able to catch her after several tries. She is a sweet, affectionate dog, who seems to appreciate being rescued. We just got her DNA done and it shows Labrador Retriever, Chow, Staffordshire Terrier and Weimaraner. She has been through heartworm treatment and is doing well. She weighs 32 lb. so fairly small in size. She will be a good family dog for someone.
