Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We do also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and an all volunteer, non-profit organization. All of our animals are disease free, have been spayed/neutered and are up to date on shots. We charge a Dog adoption fee of $150 which includes a microchip. Our Cat adoption fee is $95.00. Little Becca is a charming, sweet girl. She was taken in by our shelter when it was discovered that her owner had died and no one was taking care of her. She's a dachshound, terrier mix, and only weighs 13 lb.
Our shelter spays and neuters every animal before they go out and they are up to date on all vaccinations, worming, flea preventatives and heartworm preventatives.
